The AIDSPortal initiative is currently developing a free and open database of funding opportunities that are relevant to community based organisations working in the area of HIV and TB. We have developed an extensive list of current funding opportunities, which is initially available at www.myaidsnexus.org/web/grants. We plan to develop this service further with our partners to create a shared database of funding opportunities that are also featured on their websites.
In the future we will explore other ways to expand the service, possibly including building comprehensive donor profiles with analysis based on previous funds they have advertised/allocated. We are aiming to provide a central source of information to support community-based organisations in their search for suitable funding. f) To Support and give assistance for the welfare of the needy and deserving persons.
g) To Support and contribute in all manner of activities and programmes for the development of health care.
h) To promote and encourage training in handicraft, cottage industries and other useful crafts and arts.
i) To organise campaigns, conferences, seminars, camps, meetings, workshop etc. for achieving the objects.
